Dr. Tunji Olowolafe Appointed as Chancellor of Ekiti State University by Governor Oyebanji

 

Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State - In a move that has garnered widespread attention, Governor Oyebanji, has officially appointed renowned business mogul, Dr. Tunji Olowolafe, as the Chancellor of Ekiti State University. The decision, made in accordance with the Governor's authority as the Visitor to the University, signifies a significant development for the institution.

Dr. Tunji Olowolafe, a distinguished figure from Are-Ekiti, brings with him a wealth of experience and a stellar professional background. Having initially trained as a medical doctor, Dr. Olowolafe made a successful transition into the world of business, where he has excelled for decades. He currently holds the esteemed positions of Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Deux Project Limited, a prominent civil engineering, construction, consultancy, and maintenance company that he co-founded back in 1988. Furthermore, Dr. Olowolafe has previously served as a member of the Ekiti State Covid-19 Resource Mobilization Committee, showcasing his commitment to public service.

Dr. Olowolafe's academic achievements include a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Ilorin, Kwara State. Although he embarked on a brief stint in medical practice, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish his own businesses. In 1996, he founded Generic Product Limited, and he currently serves as its Founder. Additionally, Dr. Olowolafe holds the position of Chairman and Managing Director of Deux Investment Limited.
