EKSU New Programs and Admission Requirements for UTME Candidates

 



Ekiti State University is informing UTME candidates who have applied for admission to the university and those who scored 160 and above in the 2023 UTME and are willing to change their first choice of institution to EKSU on their JAMB CAPS to apply for admission into newly approved programs in the university. 


The university minimum UTME scores for admission into BMLS, Mass Communication, and other newly approved programs are 220, 180, and 160, respectively. 


The newly approved programs include:

• BMLS Medical Laboratory Science, 

• B.Sc. Food Science and Technology,

• B.Sc. Peace and Conflict Resolution, 

• B.Ed. Health Education,

• B.Sc. Mass Communication,

• B.Sc. Social Work,

• B.Sc. Intelligence and Security Studies,

• B.Sc. International Relations,

• and B.Sc. Public Administration.


 Candidates must have at least five credit passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB in the relevant subjects at not more than two sittings and obtain the required cut-off mark in the UTME of the desired program. Any candidate who fails to participate in the screening exercise will not be considered for admission into the university.
